The background is very dark and grey.The hand really pops out alot with it's brighter color. The natural shadows and limbs of the cactus almost creat another hand. I't also shows some pain and suffering from the colors in the photograph.
In this picture here i was showing love hurts. the pain of even one person or just all others can have a big impact on someone's life. The blood showing that this woman was physically hurt by someone she loved. This person who hurt her is trying to reach out to her but but there is something blocking their love from becoming.
